Business Mogul: I was raped in a Motel for 2 Hours

My message is that I spoke up and was persuaded not to press charges. I was raped in a motel u pay 4 by the hour and for two hours he raped me and then he threw a bucket of water on me and carried me out. He then raped me in the car and left me outside. I felt like a dead stray dog, the kind that can die on side of the road & someone will just pick up & throw away. Then years later my mother's husband (not dad) violated me & at first I froze, but then I snapped out of it & was able to escape. My mother told me she was sorry but needed the money.

Life can be tough. It feels like we were handed a bad hand & the memories haunt us so badly we just want to die. But there comes a defining moment where we must make a decision, continue crying and reliving the moments that give those sick SOBs all of our power or do we get up again and fight for our life. I fought!

No matter what we went through there is always someone who had a tougher and sicker experience. So many people stay under & fall into deeper darkness, so it's up to us to be lights. It's up to us to be their strength, their inspiration and the example that empowers them to take back their life.

Each one of us has the power to create a beautiful life. That happens when we let go of the stories that our abusers told us - you are trash, no one will ever love you,  no one can put up with someone who is messed up like you, you are only good for one thing, you are stupid, etc. - and it's up to us to create new stories. Every person is love, which means we are all loving and lovable. We are worthy, we are valuable and we were never trash; we are unique treasures!

Each of us has a key that will unlock our power, but it's up to us to use it. It's up to us to guard our thoughts and keep pressing forward. It's up to us to be the victor and fire the victim. No matter how hard it was remember that it's the roughest & toughest tests that become the most powerful testimonies. You know the kind of testimonies that change the world!

  1. Rape is about power and control. Predators that do this are psychopathic or sociopathic. They view you only as an object.

    1. Predetors? What animals have to do with a social crime like rape? They are not "preditors", they are men, men. Biped. And I am not sure they any psychic disoder. Cruelty is not a disturbance or disoder. So, they are just criminals

    3. Predators are Animals, people or groups (not just animals)

1.An animal that naturally preys on others.
      2. A person or group that ruthlessly exploits others.
So it fits a rapist. My rapist was a predator as is the rapist who seeks out the girl at a party who looks a lil too drunk & vulnerable, the guy who chooses to target a child, the "friend" who assaults a woman, the man who randomly selects a woman whos walking alone... yes they are human and yes predator fits.
As far as criminals go yep they're that too.
I think we are all allowed to view the attackers, rapists, predators, criminals as we view them.

Im not sure Id use "Social crime" to describe rape either.
In sociology we use the term social crime to describe crimes that go against the social consensus.in a sense when the individual (in this case the rapist) rapes if we list it as Social crime it would mean the criminal is just "rebelling against social order" ... thats not true.
      Definition on social crime
"Crime is sometimes regarded as social when it represents a conscious challenge to a prevailing social order and its values. Examples cited by Marxist historians include forms of popular action and popular customs in early-modern England (including poaching, wood theft, food riots, and smuggling), which were criminalized by the ruling class, but were not regarded as blameworthy, either by those committing them, or by the communities from which they came."

So in other words rape is frowned upon only by ruling classes and not at all by the lower to middle classes (and it falsely identifies all rapists as powerless and/or poor)? See why calling rape a social crime doesnt fit?
Rape is not a "social crime"
Rape is a violent crime it is sexual violence, sexual assault, or what ever other term listed among the CDC & WHO
And its highly misunderstood in society... all over the world really.

      And
Predator being a word to describe a man/woman who takes advantage, disregards the basic rights of others and does harm is fitting.

  4. Willow above is correct, the people who did this to you, have no heart,or soul, and are empty, and devoid of emotion, that's no excuse, they're not ill, they know exactly what they do.You obviously know all this anyway, but i would say Jessica you are stronger, and have more about you,in every way, than any of these cowardly little "men".You have a strength, and character that must be applauded,it doesn't make it right, but you are a very inspirational woman, and have a powerful story, however negative, you've moved on with your life, and full credit to you, bless you for doing this.I hope you have an extremely positive, and uplifting life.

  8. I will never truly understand how sick a man can become when he completely loses it. Also, will never understand a mother who would let their child be sexually abused for any reason, that is not protecting your children.

  9. As a man with children I could never wish any violation on anyone. I am raising my children, daughters and sons to speak up. Not to allow anyone to violate their body's or personal space without telling me, their mother or someone. The point is to tell someone! I am sorry that you experienced this and I stand with you in protest that these judges make these predators pay, pass the correct sentences and stop allowing these SOB's to get away with violating our girls, sisters, mothers and aunts. This type of violation HAS to be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

  12. I am horrified by what we (men) have done in this world. The culture that we have created. One of unchecked power / agression. One where we validate ourselves and expect to be validated by others. What happened to you and countless women, girls, children is unspeakable. But the point of this post and your story is that we must speak. Especially those of us who already have a voice. It's imperative we speak for a cause that may not affect us directly, because that's the only way society grows. I pray for healing for this world, and I pray that I can be used to help bring that healing to light.

    1. Im in Colorado springs
I dont know why Colorado seems overly sympathetic to rape. Maybe its just me but looks like Colorado is dropping the ball for survivor rights, literally squashing rapist accountability.

  20. I am a man, son, father, husband and grandfather and ........... also was molested by a priest ......... I want to tell you in this blog that we as individuals do not can to accept, we should'nt allow other disease people disturb us for the rest of our lives, we must continue with our lives and take care of our achievements and but is also advisable !!! we learn to forgive (please do not feel betraying your self) forgiveness is something "intimate and very personal" that helps us to shed the weight of bitterness and hatred that we carry on our shoulders !! We choose life !!! choose a new beginning ................ we choose to be happy
